It was a sunny Monday evening in franconian town Kronach in March 1971, when a sunny-hearted little human being named Daphne Haderlein had her first performance on this planet. At that time the audience was indeed still small, but the powerful voice ecstasied mother and midwife.

The easy-going time in a Catholic kindergarden was inevitably followed by the serious side of life, the school days. At school Daphne discovered very early her comedic and acting talent. This talent predestinated her obligatorily to become the class representative with an extraordinarily huge entertainment potential. After ten amusing years the girl from Upper Franconia left school with O-level. Especially the disliked chemistry teacher was happy about that.

The eager pupil took up a new challenge and successfully trained as a certified foreign language correspondence clerk. From now on, she was able to perform her jokes (pieces of wisdom, knowledge and sophistries) also in English, French and Spanish.

After quitting a dull office job, Daphne found complete fulfillment by letting her destiny lead her into a successful stage career. Since December 1991 she has delighted her audience in Germany and abroad. The blond lady offers a considerable repertoire of acting, comedy, party songs or chansons, getting a hold of enthusiastic fans of all ages with her performances. Serving as a role model for many curvaceous women, she created her best stage role as "Daphne de Luxe".

Even if she is quite tough, perky and quick at repartee on stage, in private Daphne is rather conservative. Quote: "I am a cobra on stage but in private rather a blindworm." Some examples: she loves her indoor and balcony plants in her flat in Hannover, books, romantic movies, the cuisine of her older sister, the south of France, elephants and ... domestic fowl.
